Sanghiya Samajbadi Forum Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav has blamed Prime Minister KP Oli’s arrogance, ego and nonsense speech for spoiling the environment of consensus many a time.Talking to journalists at his residence in Biratnagar on Tuesday, leader Yadav held PM Oli responsible for current turmoil. He arrived here to attend the cremation of three people killed in police firing in Rangeli.

“PM Oli’s arrogance has triggered fighting situation several times during the meetings of political parties,” he said. “I had to intervene to placate the situation when PM Oli and Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala had a heated verbal exchange on January 21.”

Yadav, who also spearheads the Madhes agitation, dubbed the current Oli-led government as the most ineffective one in country’s history. According to Yadav, the country’s economy has fallen to the hands of black marketers. “Black marketers have direct connection with Baluwatar,” he said. “Government is responsible for this organised black marketeering.”

Yadav went on to say that the unilateral endorsement of constitution amendment proposal has ended its validity and reliability. “The constitution was drafted by few people and promulgated it forcefully. They claimed it excellent and again amended it,” said Yadav. “This proves that the constitution was erroneous.”
